Irrigation water: Drip irrigation system for fruit trees and hose irrigation in other areas with water from the Segura Canal (separate meter). This way, all areas can be irrigated at a very low cost.
Fruit tree area: 5 female date palms and 2 male ones, loquat, lemon, orange, quince, pomegranate, plum, and pear trees. Convenient drip irrigation: turn on the irrigation valve and each tree has a drip irrigation system installed.
Ornamental trees and Mediterranean plants area: Pines, acacias, japonicas, parkinsonias, eucalyptus, Brazilian pepper trees, false pepper trees, Washingtonia, jade trees, cacti, and succulents. They don't require much watering (xeriscaping). There is 1 cistern and 4 tanks to collect rainwater. Additional irrigation is available if desired.
The pool area is fenced off, and there's also a resting area for our canines if we need to keep them when we take the car out of the plot, as the plot has covered parking and/or a workbench.
