URBANIZACION GRAN VISTA
On the Costa Blanca Coast, between Alicante (15 km) and Santa Pola (8 km) you will find the Gran Alacant area, with several private urbanizations, various supermarkets, shopping center, international restaurants, shops, pharmacy, library and a medical clinic. Gran Vista, presumably the best private urbanization in the Gran Alacant area, is located at an altitude of 90-120 meters above sea-level, with a spectacular view over the Carabasi beach and across the bay area to Alicante and the castle of Santa Barbara. The distance to the 7 km long white sand beach of Los Arenales del Sol & Carabasi is 1,5 km by road and approximate 20 minutes by foot.
Gran Vista urbanization has a total of 464 terraced bungalows on a 100.000 m2 large plot, with 4 swimming pools (2 of them for children), 2 tennis courts, children playground, small coffee-shop and store. Each house has its own parking space and garden, and about 25% of the urbanization is laid out as a big park area with a beautiful view over the Alicante bay area. The urbanization was built in the years 1988 to 1991, by the Swedish constructor, Skanska.
The different house types have 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms for a maximum of 2,4 or 6 persons , 1 or 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, combined living and dining room, one or more balconies and a little garden. Each house has a different owner, the majority Scandinavian, and they are therefore all furnished differently, to a high standard, all with washing machine, dishwasher, television with international channels, air conditioning and free wifi connection. Some have a microwave.
